No? Well, too bad, because I’m going to tell you in detail.
Here is everything I am bringing with me to Thailand:
Let’s start with clothing. This was a tricky topic because it’s super cold in Beijing right now, but it is going to be very warm in Thailand so I have attempted to bring small and compatible layers to keep me warm until I make it to the airport.
Tomorrow, when we leave, I plan to wear my trusty Clarks that have literally accompanied me all over the world with my SmartWool socks, my ExOfficio underwear, yoga pants, quick dry green shirt with built-in bra, and two thin (but hopefully warm enough) sweaters.
For Thailand, I’ve packed a lot of beach wear because I plan on spending a lot of time there: 2 bathing suits and 2 beach cover up dresses. For normal clothing I have two bras, 2 more ExOfficio underwear, 2 more quick dry shirts, jean shorts, and comfy black shorts.
All together looks like this:
I just hope I will be warm enough when we travel back to Beijing via train!
And finally, SHOES! Shoes are tough because they have the potential to take up a lot of space. Obviously I am bringing my aforementioned trusty Clarks, but I am also bringing a pair of flip flops to dual as shower shoes and beach shoes. A comfy and well worn pair of sandals to dual as walking shoes and beach shoes. For a moment, I questioned whether I should bring sneakers instead of my Clarks, but then I realized how silly I was being!
