Today in the chicken coop, a board fell over onto a chicken and she was trapped there for hours. When we lifted the board off her, she could not walk. It appears her left leg was broken and perhaps her rib cage too. We put her in the kitchen for the night, but if worst comes to worst we will have to eat her (put her down).
